What do you do when it seems you’re the prodigal no one seems to understand?
Micah had for the longest time struggled to fit in with his family, always felt like he was looking from the outside in and it affected his relationship with them and others because his past reputation had definitely left an impression and not a good one at that. Right off the bat meeting him, it was obvious the struggle he was going through trying to prove that he wasn’t the same person.
Paige had an ongoing desire to start up her own Therapy centre to help patients like her sister.
When the two of them are brought together by a will, initially sparks fly and not the good kind. Both of them strong willed individuals who know what they want and would not be pushed aside have to learn to work together to push aside old hurts and prejudice.
As the story progresses we see them grow and become better versions of themselves. Not an easy journey but a beautiful one to see.
If you love books in second chances, this is definitely one to look out for.
