MY THOUGHTS

I didn’t realize this was the second book in a series but I like how things were written out and it didn’t take me so long to get into the story but it’s recommended to read the first book to get more of the back story
This wonderful story with lots of twists and turns had flipping page after page wanting to know how the story panned out and what was in it for the characters.
Nicole’s been hurt before and has a wall so thick around her heart it takes a resilient man to pull down those walls gently. The fear also that what happened with her husband in the past could happen again nearly kept her from being with someone who loved her earnestly. I loved Jordan though. Such a little kid with so much depth and insight, it was fun to see him stop the adults in their tracks with his wisdom but I loved his sincerity as a child he was one of my favourite characters.
The secondary characters were also delightful. It was obvious that everyone cared about each other and I loved the support system Nicole had.
The plot was definitely interesting. I put some things together pretty quickly but other parts did catch me by surprise.
This is a wonderful story with lessons on faith, trust and new beginnings and the fact that secrets most times end up causing more harm than good.
